Epilation or depilation – what is the difference? Depilation removes hair at the skin surface (for example, shaving or depilatory creams), while epilation removes hair from the root – as with waxing. Although the terms are often used interchangeably, all waxing products in this collection are designed for epilation, which gives longer-lasting smooth skin than surface hair removal.
